Reasonably Priced and Great Sound,
I have two of these devices. The sony that I have cost $20 and clicks when I play it in my one car. In my other car, it always sounds like the dolby sound filtering is on. This one works and sounds better and was half the cost.

Good value & performance,
I got the Philips Cassette Converter to run my iPod Shuffle in my ’96 Saab 900 with factory equiped stereo and it works beautifully. Yes, it is true that the signal is not very strong, so you have to turn the volume up a bit, but even the little Shuffle can compensate for it and by no means do you need to fear forgetting to turn the volume down when you switch to Radio or CD. The sound quality is as good as the iPod delivers and you have no disturbing background noise. I also had no problems that the deck would eject the tape. I can recommend this product and it’s good value for money (I didn’t try similar one)

Serves its purpose,
This adapter works fine with my mp3 player, at top volume there’s slight background noise that can be taken care of with noise reduction if your car stereo has it. Sound quality is excellent and very consistent. It’s much better and less expensive than a radio transmitter. I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Works just fine for the price,
Not the highest quality sound (slight hiss or white noise with the volume up fairly high) but perfectly fine for everyday casual use. Mine had a straight cord, instead of the curly cord pictured (didn’t matter to me but might to some). Certainly can’t beat the price; even when I could FIND one locally it was at least $20.

Better than some,
The one I received does not have a coiled cord like the one in the picture. I chose this one over others because I thought it had a coiled cord. On the other hand, it works fine. I have had others before that were mechanically noisy, but this one is pretty quiet. I have never had an FM transmitter work worth a darn for me, and it is nice to have a practical use again for the old cattette slot.

iPod Cassette Adapter,
I love it. Nuff said, but not really. It doesn’t look anything like the one in the picture. The one I got didn’t have a strechy cord like it looks like in the picture, it’s all black except where the blue is which is a grey. But if you don’t care (which I don’t) it’s a good product with an awesome sound quality except at the really loud volumes, which has *some* noise.
